The annual Lincoln Day Dinner will be held on April 23, 2010. Tickets are now on sale. Tickets are $50 if you buy your ticket before March 17th, after $55. Tickets will be available March 4th at the March Central Committee Meeting; at your local Precinct Caucus; at the SWRW luncheon on March 16th and by calling 259-5347. The regular central committee meeting will be held at the La Plata County Courthouse. All republicans are invited to attend and all Precinct Chairs are highly encouraged to attend. An overview of the March 16th Caucus and County Assembly will be given. In addition, Precinct Committeepersons will receive vaulable information for their Precinct Caucus.
The County Assembly for the La Plata County Republicans will be March 29, 2010 at 5:30 PM. In order to attend the County Assembly you must attend your local Precinct Caucus on March 16th and be elected as a delegate.
Statewide caucus will be held March 16, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Please see GET INVOLVED to link to Caucus locations. Items of business at the caucus include: preference poll for US Senate and Governor, election of Precinct Committeepersons, election of delegates/alternates to the County Assembly.
In order to particpate in the caucus you must be: a registered Repblican voter for at least to months prior to the caucus; must have lived in the precinct for 30 days*; who have been registered to vote in the precinct by Tues, Feb 16, 2010; Must be a US Citizen, 18 years old .
